UNDERCOVERS CANCELLED!!!!!
shocker!! the ratings were on the way down and nbc finially canned the two undercover cia agent drama. i for one have a hard time sticking with a drama show with no real thick plot or continued story. so what if shows like lost are hard to catch on to the original viewers stick with a heavy plot like that. nbc promoted the heck out of this show but viewers didnt grab on. critics have their own guesses to why this show was stopped. it was described as flimsy and uncompelling by a critic named nicki flinke. This is the second new nbc show to get cancelled, along with outlaw. poor j.j. abrums.. stick with hardcore dramas!

undercovers first episode
so far i think its a csi for a younger audience.. which might work for the time slot considering its runs right next to csi. its two good looking people who are amazing ex members of the CIA who are about to get back into the business and keep solving crimes and cases. oh and theyre in love. so its not bad, but i wish it was a show that left me in some suspense. it's not horrible but i'm not excited to watch the next episode. and its a drama completely different from lost bc its not an ongoing story and anyone can jump in and watch. There's so many versions of CSI now, so i can't say this undercovers cant be successful too, just not my cup of tea. i expected a better show from jj abrums.

Undercovers
Undercovers is NBC’s new spy drama. Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw star in Undercovers as a married couple who own a catering business and are undercover CIA agents. Their cases lead them to cities around the world making their work and marriage lives exciting.
Writer/Producer/Director J.J. Abrams (“Star Trek,” “Lost,” “Alias”) helped create Undercovers along side Josh Reims (“Brothers and Sisters,“What about Brian.”)
Undercovers premires Wednesday September 22nd at 8, following is two hours of another crime show, Law and Order. Competing in the same time slot is ABC’s The middle, CBS’s Survior, CW’s America’s Next Top Model, and FOX’s Lie to Me.
Undercovers is another show reaching the 18-49 adult audience that NBC’s other shows like Parenthood and Marriage Ref are also targeting.
I think Undercovers has a good chance of getting a large audience to watch the pilot episode, not because of the actors or really the exciting storyline, more due to the hype coming from J.J. Abrams. I think it falls in line well with the rest of the Wednesday night NBC lineup, because all the shows are crime related which could pull the Law and Order audience into watch Undercovers. I don’t think it’s competing with a lot of really big shows, I think it’s biggest competitor is Fox’s Lie to me. I think this show is going to be appealing most of NBC’s usual audience and it has a chance to be a successful series.
